• Inlays and Onlays: Inlays and onlays are custom restorations made of tooth-colored porcelain or composite material. They are made in a dental laboratory and are permanently cemented onto the tooth at our office. Inlays fit between the cusps (points) of a tooth while onlays are used for more extensive damage covering one or more of the cusps of the tooth.

• Regular Dental Checkups: Regular dental examinations and professional cleanings are essential to maintaining your oral health. We conduct dental cleanings and routine checkups for our patients in order to help them control and prevent any oral health problems. A dental checkup at our office includes a comprehensive evaluation of your teeth and gums through a professional dental cleaning, digital X-rays (when necessary), and a screening for oral cancer. We may also recommend a fluoride treatment. Fluoride application helps remineralize your enamel and protects the teeth from cavities.

• Sealants: Dental sealants are a thin coating of acrylic painted on the biting surface of the molars to seal out irregularities and prevent the occurrence of cavities and decay. Our back teeth have grooves and fissures which often become home to decay-causing bacteria and food particles. Sealants are used to smooth out these grooves and crevices and seal out tooth decay-causing particles.
